Otherkin

 my name's Leo! though I've identified myself with otherkin and the like for a while, I used to identify solely with the "coping mechanism" side of the community on tumblr. however, I've recently been breaking away from that and coming to terms with my own spirituality after being brought up in a household fairly strict about religion. I guess I felt like if I actually identified as alterhuman I would somehow be a disappointment to my parents or something, but now that I'm an adult and making more and more of my own choices, I seriously don't care what they think about my spiritual identity.

...anyway, I'm vampirekin, and possibly some others but I don't have a strong grasp on them yet. I'm migrating to here + possibly some other sites from tumblr following recent events, so if there's things I don't quite know, it's because I was most involved in the otherkin community on there and, well, if you know what it's like you'll know what I mean.
