SF Bay Otherkin Meetup - October 11 - Online

The October meetup will be on Sunday, October 11, 2:00 - 5:00 PM PDT. We hold our online meetups in a Jitsi chat room. The service is similar to Zoom with video and text chat. No account is required. No download is required if you use a web browser; Android and iOS apps are available if desired.

This event is planned to feature a guided meditation, and there will probably be discussion of the elven-faerie-oriented online event I recently posted a survey about.

You don't need to live in the San Francisco Bay area to attend; we welcome visitors, just as we would at physical meetups. Sharing video is not required. Joining the voice chat is also not required, but is recommended as it is where most of the action is. I can't make this one 'cause I have to work, but I'll try to make the next one. Also, the online Elven-Fairie-con thing sounds really cool! (I still gotta do the survey)

"Having to work" is a major reason we have the alternating second Saturday/second Sunday thing in the first place, because for people who work weekends, historically they haven't usually had to work both days and so have been able to attend at least once in a while when the (physical) meetup was on their convenient day. Even now in the Online Only Times we have members who consistently have other things on one or the other and so it's nice to have the alternation.
