otherkinThe October meetup will be on Sunday, October 13th, 2:00 PM at Lakeside Park, Lake Merritt, in Oakland, CA.
This is about 1/2 mile from the 19th St/Oakland BART station. (Lake Merritt station is the wrong side of the lake.) If driving, parking along Bellevue Ave is $5 all day.
Bring a packed lunch or snacks if you would like, and possibly something to sit on. Meet by the Fairyland (tee hee) sign on the corner of Grand & Bellevue. See Google street view. PLEASE NOTE: There is also another sign inside the park - we will not be there. Make sure you are at Grand & Bellevue! (And make sure you are at the western intersection of Grand & Bellevue; Bellevue is a loop and they cross again about half a mile further east, past the park.)
RSVP by Friday, October 11th. Let me know if you will not be able to arrive by 2 PM and I will give you my and/or Cel's cell phone numbers if you don't already have them so you can find us in the park. You can RSVP by commenting on this post or emailing me at arethinn@eristic.net.
