Silly freeholdness

otherkinThis is probably full of ridiculousness, but man, I really wish I had a freehold.
A place where faefolk wander in and out ... Have some cider or tea or a sandwich or a bowl of soup from the pot that's always on the stove ... Pick up some glamour/majik/chi/whatever by touching the hearthfire/balefire for a moment ... Share whatever magical experiment they might be working on ... crash for the night if they need to, then do a little work in the garden in the morning -- or the afternoon, if you know what I mean ... and before they leave, give a magical wink to the mead or ale brewing in the back room.
A place where they might ... bring some stones to leave on the caern in the yard and take back home some goblin fruit (hee hee) or fallen leaves ... Sing by the hearth, or under the moon, or anywhere given the slightest chance, for we are the Singing Peoples... Speak to the trees, who speak back to them... Touch shrines that honor the spirits of land older than ourselves, the Dreaming Light of the Earth ... Leave a book, take a book... And help others to Awaken.
