Shining Hearth is a free Discord gathering of elves, fae, and similar folk, happening March 18-20, 2022.
We've lost contact with one of our staff members who was also giving a presentation and are looking for replacements. You must be 18 years of age or older and have or be willing to create a Discord account. Other requirements:
Staff: Have duties of chat moderator, schedule runner (make sure next presenter is ready to go and give time warnings), and technical support (help with technical problems on Discord). Prefer if we can get all three (whether in one person or more), but schedule running is the most important. Must commit to being present on all three days of the event, Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20, and to checking the server for messages regularly between now and then. Presenter: Give a talk, discussion, demo, performance, etc. of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. Topics directly related to elves/fae/etc. are preferred. Topics of general interest to otherkind will also be considered. Must commit to this timeslot: Sunday, March 20, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Central Time (9:30 AM Pacific, 10:30 Mountain, 12:30 Eastern), to check in 30 minutes ahead of time on that day, and to checking the server for messages regularly between now and then.
